Privacy Policy

This policy explains what SheetSentry ([OWNER LEGAL NAME, ADDRESS]) collects and why. Short version: the minimum needed to check your sheet and email you.

What we collect and store

• Monitor settings: your email address, monitor name, the published CSV link, column names, deadline, time zone and quiet days.
• Check results: the last 100 check results per monitor (pass/fail, counts, row numbers and column names of problems) and the last 20 alerts. We do not store the contents of your sheet; each CSV is downloaded, checked in memory, and discarded.
• Waitlist: your email, the plan you clicked (if any), the time, your approximate country (from our hosting provider) and the referring page.
• Billing: your plan, subscription status, and Stripe customer and subscription IDs. Card details are handled by Stripe and never reach us.
• Abuse prevention: short-lived counters keyed by a hash of your IP address or email, deleted automatically within 2 days.

Access to your sheet

Read-only. We only fetch the "Publish to web" CSV link you provide. We never get access to your Google account and never modify your sheet. Remember that a published link is readable by anyone who has it; you can unpublish at any time in Google Sheets.

Processors

• Cloudflare: hosting, storage (Workers KV) and scheduled checks.
• Stripe: payments and the billing portal.
• Resend: sending setup and alert emails.

We don’t sell your data or use it for advertising, and we set no tracking cookies. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics (cookieless, aggregate page-view counts).

Retention and deletion

Deleting a monitor from its manage page removes its settings and history immediately. Unconfirmed monitors are deleted after 72 hours. Billing records are kept as long as tax law requires. Email us to delete waitlist or other data.
